MezzJelly Soul – Dallas
I went to MezzJelly Soul this past weekend. It rocked! I just loved the soul music and all of the DJs just kicked butt on the music. I loved watching everyone dance because at this event anything goes. Everyone was just getting so into it! I loved it! If you didn’t get a chance to go, keep this one in mind for next year. Music Recommendation: Grits Ain’t Groceries – Little Milton
Grits Ain’t Groceries is a upbeat blues song that makes for a great swing/blues/funk fusion. I highly recommend checking out this song. Also, if a deep blues is not up your alley, also check out the Wet Willie version.

I am a swing dancer and Fusion DJ in Houston, TX interested in all things swing and all things fusion. Ivy Grey started the Fusion bug here in Houston with the Houston Fusion Exchange and I want to continue that bug here in Houston through my dancing and my DJing.
